Cater Group have launched plans to build 4no. modern flats at Saughton Road North, Edinburgh – a site which was acquired by the developer in 2019.
CROWN STREET & BON ACCORD STREET – ACQUISITION
Cater Group have this month acquired two sites from Aberdeen City Council’s portfolio. The two sites are in very close proximity to each other and both sites comprise of two interconnected traditional townhouse buildings, in the heart of Aberdeen City. Located on Crown Street and Bon Accord Street, proposals are to convert the existing buildings to 9 and 11no modern flats, respectively.
DON STREET – ACQUISITION
Cater Group have this month acquired another site in Aberdeen. Planning will soon be launched to demolish the former OTC Centre building and build a modern flatted development. The site is located at the corner of Don Street and King Street within the Old Aberdeen area.
PROJECT IN ST LEONARDS-ON-SEA
Cater Group has this month announced a £20.4 million project in St Leonards-On-Sea.
The former Westerleigh School site located in Hollington Park, Hastings is set to be the location of 68 mixed residential units. The former school site has laid vacant for many years and sits within the local development plan for Hastings.
GELLATLY STREET, DUNDEE
Cater Group lodge plans for 38 new flats in Dundee waterfront regeneration zone.
Cater Group have made a successful acquisition in Dundee in a joint venture with McGill Homes. Plans to convert a Grade B listed building on Dundee’s waterfront into residential properties have moved forward with the submission of a formal application for 38no residential units.
A planning statement lodged details how the flats will be designed to include southern balconies and views over Slessor Gardens with the V&A in the distance.
MABERLY STREET DEVELOPMENT
Cater Group have given the public a first glimpse at how one of their current developments on Maberly Street, Aberdeen will look. The former printer’s shop which currently stands on the site will be demolished to make way for the 16 two-bedroom flats, complete with a communal garden behind the property. Neil Rothnie Architecture, the agent working on behalf of Cater Group, has shared artists impressions of the Maberly Street development.
